Outages and Power Restoration

Dec 15 2021 Wind Storm.jpg

Before calling Nishnabotna Valley REC about a power outage, first check to see if other neighbors are affected. This will confirm if an outage has occurred in just your residence or within the neighborhood area.

If only your residence is without power, check circuit breakers and/or fuses to see if the problem is limited to your home electric system.

After performing these steps, call NVREC at 1-800-234-5122. Like our Facebook page and follow our Twitter feed to see updates and information on major outage situations.

Members can also sign up for Smart Hub and report an outage right from your phone.
