Nishnabotna Valley REC has several partnerships at the local, state and national level to best provide our member-owners with reliable, dependable, and affordable electric service.

 

NVREC receives power from Basin Electric Cooperative, a generation and transmission (G&T) in Bismarck, North Dakota, as well as an Iowa based G&T Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative (NIPCO) headquartered in LeMars, IA.

​

Nishnabotna Valley REC is also part of a Statewide Association of RECs in Iowa, and part of a National Coalition of Rural Electric Cooperatives called Touchstone Energy.
