Local, Regional and National News from NVREC
Nishnabotna Valley REC works closely with our power provider Basin Electric Power Cooperative and Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative (NIPCO) to continue to offer our member-owners safe, reliable and affordable electricity. NVREC is part of a larger organization called National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, NRECA provides education and training to more than 900 member-owned, not-for-profit electric cooperatives, public power districts and public utility districts in the U.S. Touchstone Energy Cooperatives represents a nationwide alliance of member-owned electric co-ops, including yours. Collectively, it delivers power and energy solutions to more than 750 unified local electric cooperatives across 46 states, forming the largest electric utility in the country.
