Nishnabotna Valley REC provides rebates to our residential and commercial member-owners for the purchase of a variety of energy-efficient equipment and appliances. Members are eligible for rebates when they invest in upgrades to their home or business by installing Energy Star rated appliances, ground or air source heat pumps, blown in insulation, or energy efficient lighting. Each of the energy efficiency programs we currently offer were independently assessed to verify they provide the greatest cost-benefit to all of our member-owners.
Nishnabotna Valley REC has had a long history of supporting energy efficiency; in fact, we have been offering cost-effective energy efficiency programs to our member-owners since the late 1980s. The Cooperative offers programs designed to reduce electric demand, such as our load management program and our ongoing commitment to upgrade our facilities with more efficient transformers and other distribution equipment.
Ultimately, Nishnabotna Valley REC invests in energy efficiency programs to benefit the member-owners we serve. Below is a link to the rebate forms.
