Tax credits available for homeowners

Federal tax credits are available to homeowners for energy efficiency improvements in 2009 and 2010.  They are available for such things as heat pumps, central air conditioning, , windows and doors, insulation, small wind energy systems and other items.   Ask your tax preparer or go to  http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=products.pr_tax_credits#s9
